The grand organ pipes gave me goosebumps as they came to life when this beautiful bride came down the isle. And in the presence of God, family and a whole pile of Texas Techies, Kelli and Griffin promised each other life together. ('Scuse me. I stand very corrected. It's Texas Tech RED RAIDERS. Not "techies".)
There were little things throughout Griffin & Kelli’s wedding day that simply warmed my heart. Like learning that the GORGEOUS First United Methodist Church in the heart of Lubbock Texas held extra special meaning since it was where Griffin’s parents were married in 1983.
But my favorite part was the way these two simply melted into each other once they were finally together after a long day of preparation leading up to the ceremony. All else faded and nothing mattered but that they were together.
While I’ve known Griffins family for years, (the “I knew when that cute groomsman was in diapers" kinda way) it was a joy to get to know Kelli’s side and to work with such an amazing bunch of people who all came together to make this day special for the bride and groom.
I couldn’t have been more tickled to have been giving the privilege of being their wedding photographer and I wish Griffin and Kelli many years of marriage as loving and sweet as the way they looked at each other on their wedding day!
Ps. HUGE shoutout to my second shooter Paige Wallace…who came all the way from Missouri and did a phenomenal job!
