I love grabbing my camera (and the baby) and jumping into the pickup for a afternoon of riding around with Nelson. Often times when he says "Do you want to go with me babe?" I talk myself out of it because I have laundry to fold, client photos to edit, phone calls to make, a baby to bathe...there is ALWAYS something to claiming my time as a mother, housewife and photography business owner. But yesterday I said yes and left the house in a mess and went outside. It was windy, cold and wonderful! I so enjoy every moment of watching my husband work! I know people pay thousands for weekend opportunities to take pictures of cowboys working...and this is just my everyday reality. We had some heifers and yearlings get in with the main herd cows and so Nelson has been working on getting them all back where they belong. In this series of photos he roped and loaded one of the escapee yearlings! Enjoy
