Just outside of the mountain village of Ruidoso New Mexico, you’ll find the beautiful La Junta Guest Ranch. It was the perfect venue for Lyn & Eva’s western themed destination wedding with it’s rustic cabins, beautiful landscaping and abundance of wildlife visitors. It provided a relaxed environment for the entire weekend as friends and family gathered from near and far to celebrate this meaningful marriage!
The entire day was filled with so much joy. In large part due to the incredible tribe of people Lyn & Eva have surrounded themselves with. The morning was buzzing with friends and family as they decorated, cooked and primped for the afternoons wedding.
The beautiful brides choose to take time out of their day to enjoy a off-site “First Look” where they could take some deep breaths and enjoy time together before they walked down the isle. And as if the sound of the creek, the smell of the pines and the succulent accented bouquets from the Ruidoso Flower Shop wasn’t enough to make a photographers heart sing…
We were visited by a pair of absolutely breathtaking monarch butterflies on their journey from Canada to Mexico! It was a surreal and touching moment to say the least.
Lyn & Eva were a dream to work with and I was honored to have been chosen by them to capture the story of their same-sex wedding day!

Fabulous photos, Lyndsey! La Junta Guest Ranch is so proud and happy to have been Lyn and Eva’s wedding venue, and tickled pink at what friends they have become. Congratulations, Ladies! Sheri
Beautiful. The flowers, the monarchs, the joy, the photography! All of it.
